GUEST CONTRIBUTORS: Cole Kent and Byron Kent

The Florida Keys has many outdoor activities and eco tours.

For example, Key West Eco Tours provide guided kayak tours around the National Marine Sanctuary leaving from Geiger Bay.

Don’t you want to be here overlooking these beautiful palm trees and blue sky?

In addition to kayak guided tours, @keywestecotours also provide sailing, peddle boarding and snorkelling, which water activity interests you?

For our kayak tour, we had a really nice guide named Jamie who led the group out with enthusiasm and explained things in a way that was easy to understand especially from a kid’s point of view. There were tons of jellyfish and at one point we got to see one up very close! Jamie the guide scooped up a jelly fish in a jar and it was passed over kayak to kayak so everyone could see it up close. What an incredible experience!

At one point when we kayak crossing over a school of nurse sharks, that was really really cool!

The owner, George was also extremely nice an funny which made the waiting time to get on the kayaks go by much quicker.

MoVernie TIP: Since many of these water activities are weather permitting, it’s highly recommended that you call or reach out via its website to book your guided tour, just to make sure there are spaces for you.
