The Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House is a fine dining restaurant located at the heart of the Downtown Toronto. It’s a prime location located inside the Union Station. It’s so walkable from inside the PATH and just a few minutes from the Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.
Popular Mr. Wonderful, Kevin O’Leary, along with Maple Leafs Mitch Marner are investors for this Blue Bovine, along with the Liberty Entertainment Group.
During the Cocktail VIP Party, we got a chance to chat with Kevin. He came over to the Omakase table and shook my hand. My bro, MoKenny is a big fan of him and knows Kevin luv his watches, so he struck up a conversation with Kevin about watches. Then, Kevin showed us he was wearing 2 watches that evening and took a photo with my bro.

This is Kevin’s 1st ever restaurant. In the past, Kevin has made his opinion known via his book and on Dragon Den show, that he is not a fan of investing in restaurants as he doesn’t think it makes much profit. However, with the opportunity to invest with the Liberty Entertainment Group and Leafs Mitch Marner, it’s hard for him to say no this time since the location is prime, Liberty Entertainment Group has opened many successful restaurants such as Blue Blood and Don Alfonso 1890, they have a proven winning track record to run the restaurant business. And I think Kevin has made the right decision to invest in this restaurant with other investors as I foresee Blue Bovine will be a big hit!

As we roamed around the restaurant, we met some new people, saw familiar faces and catching up with them. Moreover, we saw Leafs Great Wendel Clark, Karl Wolf, Breakfast Television co-host, Devo Brown and many others. It was very nice chatting with them as many of them knows me. It was definitely a wonderful evening!
I do have to say that I am very proud of my buddy, Executive Chef Sean Blomeley and wishing him all the best with his culinary team who is managing this new restaurant.
