As we were taking a stroll along the waterfront at the Spencer Smith Park, we noticed there was a beautiful memorial monument, so we decided to take a closer look. The monument is there to remember the Nine young Canadian sailors who were killed in action during the Korean war and this is a permanent memorial to remember their sacrifice.
