Marshview Patio @ Long Point Eco Adventures – St. Williams, Ontario, Canada [ONTARIO TRAVEL SERIES]

Long Point Eco Adventures (Long Point Eco) has its own restaurant on premise called “Marshview Patio“. This is super convenient as it’s only a short 3-minute walk from our glamping pods to the resto.

Having a restaurant on premise has its perks as we don’t have to bring and cook our own food. Moreover, we don’t have to drive somewhere to dine. This is especially perfect for someone like myself who doesn’t like to prepare or cook my own food. This is why glamping at its finest.

The reason why the restaurant is called “Marshview” was coz there is a marshland down the slope from the restaurant. It has a nice view while dining at the patio.

Dinner Time:

We ordered a bunch of food to share, from perch tacos to MVP fries, gourmet beef burger, hotdog with fries and perch burger. All of these items had a nice presentation and they tasted reasonable. In particular, we enjoyed the perch taco. As for the MVP fries, we didn’t feel it was worth $14 a plate. It’s just crispy fries with sauce and chopped tomatoes and green onions, which we felt $14 was a bit steep.

Due to the pandemic, we were told that the food menu options were kept at a short list. However, when everything returns back to the new normal, I would luv to see more food selections and less fried food items. I totally wouldn’t mind some BBQ items such as ribs, burgers and chicken wings. Just coz I don’t want to cook while glamping doesn’t mean I can’t have BBQ comfort food. But for now, the food options serves its purposes.

Rise n Shine for Breakfast:

Depending your accommodation/deal packages, your breakfast maybe included. The complimentary breakfast was also situated at the Marshview Patio. Wearing facemask is required and we entered the restaurant and grabbed whatever we like. We picked up some yogurt, hot coffee, milk, juice, bagels and pastries. It’s a nice simple continental breakfast and it did the job!

Turkey Point Marsh:

From the Marshview Patio, you could see the beautiful Turkey Point Marsh. In fact, there was a lookout deck for the guests to overlook at the nature marshland in a very nice vintage point.

Our glamping and dining experience at Marshview Patio were provided by Long Point Eco Adventures. However, as always, the opinions expressed in this post is entirely my own.
