Mazda3 (Car of the Year) + Genesis GV80 (Utility of the Year) by Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC)

Today, 2 big awards were announced by the Canadian Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).

The Genesis GV80 has been named the 2021 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year.

And the Mazda3 has been named the 2021 Canadian Car of the Year.

Congratulations to both brands and vehicles for winning this prestige award.

For the 2nd year in a row, the Mazda3 has been named the “2021 Canadian Car of the Year” by Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).

With this win, the Mazda3 achieved multiple firsts in AJAC award history. The Mazda3 is the ONLY template ever to win Canadian Car of the Year 2 years in a row, and the ONLY nameplate to have won the overall award 3 times!

Two weeks ago, I test drove this 2021 Mazda3 100th Anniversary Edition AWD Sedan and it was such a treat to drive. A vehicle with superb acceleration with its 2.5L turbo engine, filled with luxurious and high tech features in the vehicle. Very well-deserved.
