Miku Toronto – The Aburi Style Japanese Cuisine – NOW Open!

0

Last evening, I was invited to attend the Miku Toronto Media Food Tasting Event. Miku Toronto is located at the heart of the Downtown Toronto, situated in Toronto’s Harbour Front at Bay and Queen’s Quay. It has over 7000 square feet, with a raw bar, sushi bar and a large patio. It is modern, chic and providing a spacious, upscale dining Japanese cuisine experience.

Aburi Restaurants began in Vancouver, BC, owning a number of locations, including Miku Vancouver. Thus, Miku Toronto is Aburi Restaurants’s first East Coast location.

The moment I walked into Miku Toronto, you could see the fancy decor, friendly staff, awesome ambient light fixtures and super high spacious ceiling. It gave you a very welcoming and warm feeling (even thought it’s cold outside).

Yesterday I got to try a number of Miku Toronto signature dishes, from its famous Aburi torched sushi to fresh sashimi platters to awesome cocktails to Japanese dessert.

Stay tuned for my in-depth MoVernie vs Food BLOG on my tasting expereince at Miku Toronto at a later date. For now, indulge the Miku Toronto food through my photos.
