Morning Breakfast – Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge – San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – Terminal 2

After staying for a few extra days here in San Francisco, it’s time to fly back home!

I grabbed my backpack and carry-on, checked out of the beautiful Grand Hyatt San Francisco Hotel that Air Canada had provided for me. Then I took the Air Train that was conveniently located beside the hotel to Terminal 2, where my gate and Air Canada flight was going to be.

I had decided to arrive at the airport a little bit early so that I could experience the brand new Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge one more time. This time, it’s the official grand opening of the Maple Leaf Lounge that is open for business, welcoming eligible passengers to experience what this lounge is all about.

Since I attended the special private celebration event with Air Canada during the evening prior, I knew my way around and navigated to the Maple Leaf Lounge with ease.

As I approached the e-gate at the entrance, my hardcopy boarding pass allowed me access with a simple scan. The friendly staff at the entrance counter greeted and welcomed me.

I chose a dining area near the food & beverage station so that it’s closer for me to get my breakfast. Furthermore, I sat close to the monitor that updates the Air Canada flights. Most often, I prefer to stay close to the monitor in case my flight got delayed or changed of gate last minute. Although I do receive text updates from Air Canada, it’s always nice to see the INFO from the monitor as well.

Breakfast items being served at the food stations included hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages, all the typical breakfast item. I don’t really eat much in the morning, but I do like something to munch on.

And most importantly for me, a nice hot black coffee which the machine used Lavazza coffee beans, which I enjoyed very much!

And I also got myself a nice glass of orange juice plus purified water straight from the water station.

For those who needs wants bakery, you can toast your bagel or toast plus yogurt, fruits, etc.

All-in-all, this was a cool Press Trip with Air Canada and I would definitely visit this Maple Leaf Lounge again in the near future if I ever visit San Francisco or in transit at the SFO. I have to admit, currently, I think the Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO is better than the one we have in Toronto, so I a lil bit jelly at the moment! LOL

Thank you Air Canada for a wonderful experience and the invitation to attend and cover the private event to celebrate the brand new Maple Leaf Lounge here at SFO! Thanks for the unforgettable memory!
