Another day on the Press Trip, another rounds of good food crawl.

After experiencing Lao Food, Thai Food, Indian Food, it’s now time to check out Korean Food. During this Press Trip, it’s all about exploring various cultural food and learning about all the unique ingredients, traditional way of cooking and the diversity of the  food scenes in Houston, Texas.

MDK Noodles Houston offers fresh dumplings and hand pull noodles made in-house daily.

These pan fried dumplings were crispy and tasty and not oily, it’s just perfect! The steam pork & shrimp Dumplings, oh mine! Heaven!

And of course, the Korean side dishes are just so tasty and perfect to start our feast.

Very glad some of the people on this Press Trip got to try the Korean Soju for their 1st time.

MoVernie FUN FACT: Did you know…..in Korean tradition, you are not supposed to pour drinks to your own glass?

Instead, you let others pour drinks onto your glass and to return the favor, you pour their glasses back. We ordered a number of Soju flavours and it felt like a Soju Tasting. I personally enjoyed the Soju Grapefruit flavour the most. Not really a fan of the traditional flavour.

Although they don’t offer peach yogurt here at MDK Noodles, but if I have to choose, I like Soju mixed with Japanese peach yogurt the most! Most of the time, it’s the brand called Yakult. It’s so smooth to drink with an unique flavour.

Have you tried Soju before? If yes, did you enjoy the drink?
