At the Ford Press Conference, they had unveiled 3 brand new vehicles, with the debut of the all-new GT, Shelby GT350R and F-150 Raptor.
I personally have a special connection with the name “Raptor” because of my beloved NBA sports team, the Toronto Raptors. The moment the F-150 Raptor came on the stage, I felt in love! It had an aggressive, in-your-face, ready to go off-road type of look to it.
The Raptor is based on the recently named North American Truck of the Year, F-150 pickup, but only more mean looking and is a more high-performance off-road pickup in the company’s lineup.
Ford has reengineered every part of the F-150 Raptor to make it the toughest, smartest, most capable off-roader and, at the same time, more efficient, which is high on every consumer’s wish list.
Raptor is powered by Ford’s new, second-generation 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 411 horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s incredibly efficient engine design!
I really hope Ford & Toronto Raptors can collaborate to pimp this awesome Ford F-150 Raptor into a Raptor Mobile. Better yet, I will be the one driving around the city, interviewing Raptors fans and continue to be on the MOVE! LOL I hope my wish will one day come true!
