Fox on John Restaurant is located at 106 John Street, Toronto and they have recently launched a new Spring menu. So, they reached out to see if we would like to try out some of its spring menu food items and we said “Yes”!

We placed an order for take out. The day when we picked up our food, the patio was opened as the government restriction has less tighten and allow people to dine outside the patio. Live DJ music was hopp’in with heater warming up the patrons at the patio. As far as I know, there were safety protocols in place by the restaurant and people were following the rules and many of the patrons lined up outside before the staff greeted them and guided them to the patio table.

Anyhow, our food was nicely packaged into this brown bag for the ease to carry it back home. Once we were back at home, we had decided to indulge the spring meal.

Chocolate Almond Brownie

In particular, the Carbonara was phenomenal, great sauce to pasta ratio and generous amount of bacon and chicken. Each pasta comes with 2 pieces of tasty, crispy garlic breads.

The chocolate almond brownie was incredibly delicious. I am usually not really a dessert person but this was off the charts! A MUST ORDER. It’s best to eat it when warm.
