I know lots of peeps are leaving reviews for the previous cafe that was called Colette Cafe or other cafe, but just an FYI, I am reviewing the brand new Holts Café that is just open (January 2020) with new decor and food items. Just wanted to clarify and bring out this point to my readers.
Holts Café on Bloor is now open, so we were on a first look to check this place out. It’s located inside Holt Renfrew on the 3rd floor. This place has nice colour combinations. From the navy blue furniture, matching red chairs, nice white marble bar counter top, mixing in with the gold decor. It’s nicely done! Classy, chic and modernly artsy.
The service was excellent. Our server Mimi was very knowledgeable with the food items. She also informed us that Holts Café serves brunch, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.
Holts Café also have a charitable initiative called “H-Project”, be sure to ask about it. Food selections ranged from appetizers, salads, entrees to dessert. It’s a short list of items but enough selections. If you are veggies or vegan, there are food options available as well.
We ordered the quinoa salad, truffle fries and butter squash risotto, all veggie dishes and tasted refreshing and delicious. We also ordered a glass of white wine and a beer.
We enjoyed our dining experience here, especially for those who needs a break from all the shopping in Yorkville and want a nice view sipping a nice bubbly while overlooking the streets of Yorkville from the 3rd floor perspective.
