My FAVOURITE Ramen Restaurant in Toronto, “Ramen Isshin” has opened another location in the GTA.
This time, it’s located at 3175 Rutherford Drive, Unit 47, Vaughan.
The other Ramen Isshin locations are located in the Downtown Toronto core (College location + Queen Street West location).
Thus, this Vaughan location is truly special as it’s a location not located in Downtown Toronto, so anyone who doesn’t live in Downtown or doesn’t want to drive thru the heavy traffic to Downtown, can enjoy a bowl of ramen & other food items at the Vaughan location. It’s super close to Vaughan Mills Mall and Canada’s Wonderland.
The moment I opened the door, the interior space is inviting, bright, modern, comfortable with wooden pieces being used through out the entire space. And just like other Ramen Isshin locations, they have the signature dragon mural artwork on one of the walls.
Plus…
it’s the 1st location with a nice outdoor patio. The evening is breezy so it’s a cool experience to indulge the ramen, dessert, ice cold beer in an outdoor setting.
I luv the kaarage (fried chicken) and aged tofu. These appetizers are great to share at the table and perfect pairing with an ice cold beer!
You can call me stubborn or just die hard loyal but at any Ramen Isshin location, I ALWAYS luv to order the White Sesame Shio, it’s just so comforting and creamy.
Adding extra cha siu + sweet corn just elevate the broth to the next level. Grind the white sesame, oh my, the flavour, the texture, you just have to try it yourself to understand.
It was a beautiful night with some breeze so we opted to dine at its patio space. I think this is the only Ramen Isshin location that offers patio space dining. I am really enjoying a bowl of ramen in an outdoor patio setting and it’s such a cool experience!
We tried its cup size shaving ice dessert and it was a good way to finish the beautiful evening.
The staff are friendly here. There are ample of parking spots, however, during Fridays, Weekends, the plaza could get busy so you either have to be patient to find a parking spot or drive a lil further to park.
This location is accessible for wheel chair, the surface at this resto is flat, easy to accommodate wheel chair. There is also a wheel chair accessible washroom that is also “All Gender Washroom”. Good job!
