On the MOVE with this 2021 Honda CRV Black Edition to the Raptors game tonight! They are playing the Chicago Bulls tonight, featuring former Raptors DeMar DeRozan who has just signed with the Bulls as a free agent. They also have other core groups of players such as Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic and Alex Caruso.
It’s been more than 1.5 years since my last in-person game at the Scotiabank Arena (Home of the Toronto Raptors). It’s both nervousness and excitement at the same time as the indoor arena allows 100% full capacity which is almost 20,000+ of people inside the building. I also not sure whether the lineup would be extra long due to everyone having to show all the vaccination passport and identification and mobile tickets.
Anyhow, the process was quick and reasonable. Although there are many fans in the building, I felt fine and comfortable. Most fans are very respect to other fans, they wear facemasks throughout the game unless they are drinking beer and eating food. And the fans tried to maintain physical distancing.
Otherwise, it’s feels like the good ol’ times. It was nice to hear the usual announcer, Herbie Hun’s voice making announcements.
Beer is still super expensive, each large Belgian Moon is $17.25 + tax + tip, that’s about $40 for 2 large beers! LOL But it’s not the same without an ice cold in hand at a sports game. So, we got to obey our thirst.
Although the Raptors lost a tight one, it was great to be back to some sort of new normalcy. It’s great to have in-person entertainment, interact with people and enjoy life!
