Ramen Isshin – Queen Street West Location – Toronto, Canada

Ramen Isshin, one of my favourite Japanese Ramen Shops in Toronto, has decided to open another shop to serve its customers. Ramen Isshin means one heart, one ramen in Japanese. This time, it opens at the Queen Street West location. Congratulations!

The Queen Street West location has a long sitting space that stretches from the shop front window all the way to the back wall. There are a various style of sitting. There are seating for singles, couples and table for 4 people, etc.

The decor is modern, clean and it carries on with the shop’s own dragon art mural that could be seen in its other locations. The kitchen is open concept which you can see the hardworking chefs and staff are preparing your ramen and other food items. At the grand opening of the Queen Street West location, we got a chance to taste the food ahead of the public. I ordered my favourite white sesame shio with added item “Sweet Corn”. The sweet corn and the creamy broth comes hand-in-hand.

If you ask me what I usually order at Ramen Isshin? Well…I start off by ordering a pint of Asahi beer, then kaarage (fried chicken) and then white sesame shio with sweet corn. It’s a total package.
