The MoVernie on the MOVE Team and I were staying at Le Meridien Downtown Houston Hotel. One of the highlights was its rooftop bar called “Z on 23” located at the top of the building which is on the 23rd floor. Hotel guests staying at the hotel have access to the rooftop.
MoVernie FUN FACT: Based on the hotel website, Z on 23 is Houston’s highest open-air rooftop bar. This is quite interesting to know as 23rd floor isn’t that high.
Additionally, we also realized the locals would dress up nicely and come to this rooftop bar to enjoy the skyline evening views, music and drinks as well.
Although the rooftop doesn’t have a swimming pool or a huge area, it does the trick.
It had a L-shaped rooftop area with high stools and tables, with lots of patio comfy sofas with pillows.
And there was a bar station at the back of the rooftop. They served cocktails, beers, Scotch, etc.
Pop music were being played, yet it’s not super loud which we preferred and allowing us to enjoy the groovy vibes while able to chat and talk among family and friends.
The night was not overcrowded but still pretty decent size of people. Everyone had a great time and I was able to catch up with my buddy, Steven before he heads back to Los Angeles and me and MoKenny headed back to Toronto, Canada.
