Congrats to the Grand Opening of Roswell’s Saloon, the newest Houston cool bar.
So glad that my crew and I got to check it out on its 1st night of its grand opening. Special shoutout to Houston First for informing us about this new cosmic bar!
This bar has a very cool concept. A cosmic space theme throughout the entire place. I Luv the pastel and neon glow decor inside the building as well as the nice patio. There was an indoor communal long table for peeps to mix and mingle and meeting new friends. The cocktail menu offers some interesting cocktails with cool names as well as pairing each drink with a specific glassware.
The main neon mural is a nice photogenic spot.
When we were on the 2nd floor, we luv the view of looking down to the bright big mural on the wall.
And the entrance to the washroom was cool as well. I highly recommend you to check out the washrooms even if you don’t need to go.
The ONLY few small nits were that…when you sell beer and cocktails at one single bar, it took a long time to get drinks. It would be nice if there is a 2nd bar station on the 2nd floor or possibly a line just to buy beer (express line) so we don’t have to wait for the mixologists to spend so much time making each cocktail if we just want an ice cold beer for our rounds.
Also, we would prefer more EDM or space/UFO music vs 80s and 90s slow jam that didn’t really fit the vibe. Otherwise, this is an awesome place in Houston and definitely photogenic for the Instagram.
