Peeps! The wait is over for the Samsung Experience Store, which is now open at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. This two-level store is nothing like any other Samsung stores that they’ve ever launched before in Canada. Located on the ground level of the CF Toronto Eaton Centre, facing the Dundas Square, it’s located across Uniqulo and across H&M stores.
From outside looking in, I found the Samsung Experience Store very inviting, it’s spacious, modern, very casual and easy going. They have a number of Samsung staff to greet you and assist you if you have any questions. Otherwise, no one bothers you or being pushy, it’s very liberal.
There are a number of stations around the first floor. There is a main counter where the cashier is located. There is a Virtual Reality (VR) section for peeps to test it out. This VR section allows people to sit on the chair that vibrates with the video game. I must admit, at first, I thought it was a massage chair coz of the vibration but as I look closer on the screen, the lady was having so much fun wearing the VR goggle while the video game is a roller coaster ride. How cool?
At another section, you can buy accessories such as headphones, smart phones, phone cases and other Samsung products.
As I walked up the semi-circular staircase, it reminds me of many European museums that have many of these types of staircases. On the second floor, there are many interactive stations. It has a month-by-month schedule of a number of interactive experience for attendees.
Chefs are invited periodically to utilize the Samsung kitchen station to showcase the Samsung appliances. Technological seminars are also being held on the 2nd floor as well. At another theatre style section, you can even sit down on a comfy sofa and watch shows on the Samsung big screens.
