Scotiabank Arena Turns Into October’s Very Own Arena – Drake – Toronto, Ontario, Canada

0

This weekend as I drove by the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, I noticed the colour and the vibes of the entrance looked a bit different. The Scotiabank Arena has changed into “October’s Very Own Arena” coz Drake is performing 2 nights of the “It’s A Blur” concert in Toronto.

As many of you know, Scotiabank Arena is home of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors. The naming rights of the venue is Scotiabank, which has a red bank logo. When the Leafs are playing, the building turns on the blue light. When it’s the Raptors, they turn on the red light.

This was the 1st time that I had seen the building is changing the name and colour for a performer. And of course, I think they made an exception when Drake is home grown in Toronto and they want to show some extra respect to the rapper.

This weekend, Drake is performing his “It’s A Blur” concert!

Running thru the 6ix at Gate 6!

MoVernie QUESTION: Tell me what you think about the venue naming after Drake’s OVO? Do you like it or hate it? Do you think it’s too much or acceptable for a local famous rapper?

Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts.
