The SkyTeam Lounge at the Vancouver International Airport is a perfect spot to rest, eat and drink while waiting for your next flight to your final destination. Best part? It opens 24/7, so no matter what time is your flight or when you are at the YVR airport, you have access here as a member.
The welcome desk is at the ground floor of the airport near Gate 53. The friendly staff greeted us, scanned our digital lounge passes, scanned our boarding pass and we took the elevator to get to the 2nd floor.
The place was spacious with sofa chairs throughout the entire lounge. It’s a relatively long and narrow lounge layout glass windows that you can overlook the rest of the gates in the airport.
Members can also work at its working stations or just chill. They also have shower access in case you need to clean yourself up.
For extra cost, you can purchase fancier wine and cocktails at the bar station. Meanwhile, I am content and happy with beer at the self-serve station at the back of the lounge. There were variety of beer options during my visit as Tsing Tao, Howe Sound local beer and other options.
During morning, they served congee which I luv. There were also pastries, salad, fruits waffles and bagels. As I looked at the sign, they open the noodle bar at 11:00 AM during lunch time.
Anyway, I am happy with my congee and beer? Breakfast of champions!
