One of my favourite highlights at IPW19 was the surprise appearance by Snoop Dogg at the Visit California Party hosted by Huntington Beach, Visit California and Visit Anaheim. I have to say, this was a surprise to everyone and we didn’t see this coming.
We all know Visit California always put on a great show at every IPW. I saw X Ambassadors; Julia Michaels, Aloe Blacc and now Snoop. I have to say, most of the live performances at IPW are performed by traditional artists from Country Music, Pop, Rock Bands but just not hip-hop or rap, but not anymore, it’s a break through! Having Snoop Dogg performing also means IPW is forward thinking, keeping up with the times, catering to the younger delegates who attend the IPW.
I was super excited when I stood so close to Snoop and watched him perform. So many great hits! And it’s also fitting since Snoop was born in Long Beach, California, which is super close to the Huntington Beach. Having a Californian performing at this IPW party was amazing.
The weather was perfect, sunny blue skies, outdoor beach party and listening to Snoop.
Huntington Beach, Visit California and Visit Anaheim, thank you! You rock! Great choice and great decision of having Snoop to perform.
