The Sunflower Fields of Markham is the latest tourist attraction in the City of Markham. It’s located slightly a block from the Mount Joy GO Station. For those who wants to find things to do with your loved ones in the outdoors and taking lots and lots of Instagrammable photos and videos, this is the new spot for you.
In the past, many people flock to the west end, creating lots of unnecessary traffic jam to take sunflowers photos. With this new sunflower field in Markham, if you are living near the York Region, it saves you time from the long distance travelling to the west end.
There are plenty of parking spots at the field and friendly staff will greet you near the entrance and you can pay them by credit card. They do suggest you select a specific timeslot online so you wouldn’t be coming with disappointment coz if it’s super busy, they may not accept drive-ins with out prior purchase of the tickets online.
Sunflower Fields of Markham claims that they have over 400,000 sunflowers in 20 acres of land and there will be paths for you to roam around, find your perfect spot of that perfect photo with the sunflowers. They will also have different lookout spots for you to stand on and see the entire field of sunflowers.
Hurry now to bring your family along to witness nature and enjoy some summer fun! Remember, sunflowers only last for a short period of time, after that, you will have to wait for next year. So, enjoy them while you still can!
