Thay Bar is a house transformed restaurant, it’s super cozy inside, right now, it has some Christmas decoration with a tree, some festive lighting. Overall, it’s very welcoming and nice brick walls and reasonable tables and seating.
They have two combo specials, one is $45 CDN that comes with the Tom Yum Seafood Food Hot Pot + a fish dish or $65 combo that comes with the aforementioned seafood hotpot + a big plate of seafood bucket with calamari, shrimps, corn, mussels.
The yellow curry chicken was delish, good amount of heat yet still manageable to eat by those who aren’t super spicy eater. The bowl of curry is in large portion (bigger than other places) and the coconut sticky rice was amazing!
We also tried to Khao Sow, chicken thigh, good amount of food.
Moreover, we flushed it down with a lychee soda and thai iced tea.
This a great restaurant for some authentic Thai Food, if you are in Korea Town and wanted something other than Korean food, give Thay Bar a try.
