The Pit Room is a central Texas-style BBQ restaurant that serves amazing BBQ smoked meat, tacos, desserts, beer & wine in a rustic-casual setting with a nice patio. You can either sit inside and enjoy the air conditioned room or you can sit outside the patio, which ever that fits your style and mood.
This is one of the top Texas BBQ in Houston and in the states of Texas.
When we showed up, the PR that represents The Pit Room greeted and welcomed us. We were sitting outside the patio area. To start, we ordered with a nice pint of craft beer.
Then, meat after meat, the delish BBQ smoked meat platter arrived in front of our face. So much meat, but we were hungry, we will eat it all!
During our visit, the crawfish were in season so they were available at The Pit Room. Since my MoVernie Crew, MoKenny and Steven have never tried crawfish before, it’s nice that the restaurant got us some crawfish so they got to try them here in Houston.
The PR surprised us with an opportunity to check out the the BBQ pit area just to see the staff putting the meat onto the rack to slow cook these amazing delicious meat. Thank you for being so thoughtful. Although the room was full of smoke and very hot, when you luv food as much as we do, it was well worth the sweat.
Without a doubt, all 3 of us were able to chow down everything in our sight and no food was wasted. It was a delicious lunch and this place is popular for a reason. Meat so good!
