Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! Best wishes to you in 2024!

What are your goals? Do you have any destinations that you would like to visit this year?

For me, I always like to plan ahead and ask myself where do I want to visit and how long do I want to visit, how many vacation days do I want to visit these destinations.

One U.S. destination that I always LUV to visit is Washington DC. Washington, DC, the U.S. capital, a compact city located on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia.

Why I LUV Visiting Washington DC?

I have visited this wonderful place many times. Why do I like Washington DC so much?

I like the arts & culture in Washington.

This place has a rich history.

There are lots of open outdoor space and places to roam around.

It’s diverse with people coming from around the world living here.

There are so many great places to eat and drink, including many Michelin Star restaurants here.

More importantly, this place has tons of places that are FREE admission to the public. Whenever my colleagues, families or friends ask me where I recommend them to visit, I always recommend them Washington DC as one of my top choices. Just think about all the money you save as a family with all the free activities that you can visit here in DC. The zoo is free. Museums are free. Art gallery are free. Statues, monuments are everywhere. Just imagine if you have 2 kids or more, you save so much visiting these places.

Furthermore, these places are educational for your kids to learn the history or arts and crafts at art galleries or seeing animals at the zoo.

I recently watched a clip of Matt Rife, an up & rising comedian on YouTube, he mentioned that his production crew is going to film his stand up show in Washington DC. And the host asked him why Washington DC and not other places on his tour. He said he luvs Washington DC, coz he luvs the history and he goes to many museums and he never gets enough of it. Moreover, the venue space that he is performing his standup is historic.

From Ontario, Canada, you can visit Washington DC by driving on a road trip or take a short flight. I had done both mode of transportation. I still remembered the road trip where my friends and I took a minivan, we made stops at Philadelphia, went for some Philly cheesesteak sandwich, roam around, check things out, then drove to Washington DC and enjoy the free zoo and museums and then on our way back, we visited Pittsburgh and there is a famous Grove City outlet mall to buy clothes and other stuff since it’s tax-free in this region. That was a memorable road trip and I highly recommend that to everyone.

My recent Press Trip was flying from Toronto Pearson International Airport and flew into Washington DC, it was a nice short 1.5 hours flight and boom, I am in DC.

Anyhow, if you are planning for your vacation this year, consider visiting Washington DC, it’s a great place to visit, explore and experience.
