The Super Bowl LV is happening this coming Sunday on February 7, 2021. I plan to stay at home and glue to the TV to watch this epic battle between Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs. It’s super exciting to watch 2 of the awesome quarterbacks duke it out with their respective teams. Will the legend Tom Brady able to work his magic again to try to win another Super Bowl title? Or will the young and talented Pat Mahomes and his teammates able to defend its Super Bowl title and win the title yet again? We will have to find out.

Tampa Bay is a nice destination to visit, it offers nice sunshine and hot weather. There is a nice river along the city with fresh seafood, tons of entertainment and cool places to check out.

Back in 2018, I was on a Press Trip with @VisitFlorida and @VisitTampaBay as they guided me along with a few of our Canadian journalists to explore what this city has to offer. Since my beloved Toronto Raptors is currently playing in Tampa at the Amelia Arena during this NBA bubble regular season and the Super Bowl LV is also happening in Tampa Bay, Florida, I thought this will be a good article to show you some of my top things to do when visiting Tampa Bay, Florida.

I hope you will enjoy this.

Tampa Riverwalk: Take a nice stroll along the Tampa Riverwalk. You can see the lovely boats flowing along the river. The Riverwalk is a nice community with good infrastructure. So much to see and it’s very relaxing and exercising. The artistic architecture structures along the river is so fascinating.

I still remembered watching the Tampa Lightning, who is in the NHL playoffs at the outdoor watch party near the river. There is an iconic building in the open area, tons of projectors screens for spectators to watch the game. There were food vendors such as freshly shucked oysters. After the overtime playoff win by Tampa Bay Lightning, I walked home by taking the Tampa Riverwalk and got into my hotel at Marriott Water Street which is located along the Riverwalk, so that was a cool experience to remember.

Pirate Water Taxi: Take the pirate water taxi and tour along the river. It gives you a different perspective when sitting on the boat and looking the buildings and infrastructure along both sides of the river.

MoVernie FUN FACT: Did you know……this is the 1st time in NFL history where a home team is hosting the Super Bowl at home turf? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers is heading to the Super Bowl and is playing its home turf at Raymond James Stadium. Can you believe this? For 55 years, there was no team who was able to play on its home turf. I was shocked.
