Restaurants Canada (RC Show) is happening today until this Wednesday, April 9, 2025. We have been On the MOVE covering this amazing event every year! It’s a show that features food & drinks, latest trends, dining experiences, culinary skillz, new innovation, technologies, environmentally friendly materials and promote sustainability and much more.
As its website explains it, the Restaurants Canada is “Helping unite our industry and fuel success through advocacy, connection, and support to create vibrant and thriving restaurant and foodservice communities across Canada.”
Tonight, to kickoff the RC Show, the Media were being invited to the VIP Reception. There were many food trucks and food stations serving samples of good food. Moreover, there were beverage stations such as coffee, beer and other mocktails. I noticed there were quite a number of plant based food options as well.
I really enjoyed this tofu with nice soy sauce and some seaweed strips. Refreshing and healthy.
Moreover, I really enjoyed the juicy tender roast beef that came straight out of the oven. So good!
It makes me happy when I saw this signage, “Canadian Proudly Serving Canadians”.
And new this year? There was a live band playing all different genres of music, it was great vibes and really hype up the start of the RC Show.
MoVernie FUN FACT: Did you know….Restaurants Canada is entering its 80th year of existence? That’s quite a long history and providing support in the Food, Beverage and Hospitality industries.

Guess this! I grew up eating Campbell Soup and it was nice to see Campbell Soup as one of the sponsors of this event and showcasing some of their latest products including some cool snacks. My favourite Campbell soup includes Cream of Chicken, Cream of Mushroom, Chicken Noodles and Vegetables.
And interesting, I wore an Uniqlo x Campbell Soup tee without knowing Campbell Soup is part of the event. So cool!
