On October 24, 2023, Arajet will have its inaugural flight flying from Toronto to Santo Domingo, the capital of Dominican Republic (DR) and on November 7, 2023, Arajet will have its inaugural flight flying from Montreal to Santo Domingo.

So, why is Arajet, a relatively new airline who is based in Santo Domingo wants to expand its presence in the Canadian market?

That’s coz Canadian’s chose the Dominican Republic as one of their primary destinations for vacation. In 2022, more than 715,0000 Canadian tourists visited the country.

Arajet wants to make Santo Domingo has its major hub so Canadians can fly to Santo Domingo and then connect other Arajet flights to other parts of Central and South America, along with the Caribbean regions.

Thus, for starters, Arajet is offering direct flights to and from Santo Domingo to Toronto and Montreal.

The Flight frequencies from Toronto to Santo Domingo will begin with two days a week (Tuesdays and Fridays); and from Montreal to Santo Domingo three flights a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).

Canadian Travelers from Montreal and Toronto can connect with Santiago de Chile, Medellín,
Sao Paulo, Cartagena, Aruba, Kingston, Curaçao and Saint Martin through Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo.

Arajet offers add-on bus connectivity to Punta Cana and Bávaro without having to purchase this
