I had many Chinese BBQ roast duck before but the one we bought at Auric King 金瑞麟 was the WORST!
I had never have such a bad roast duck in my life.
Let me tell you why the roast duck at Auric King 金瑞麟 was so bad. First of all, it lacks the roasting colour normally found in a BBQ duck. It doesn’t look crispy either.
Now, I still wanted to give the duck a benefit of the doubt by not judging the skin by its cover.
When I took a bite, the duck lacks flavour, lack of the traditional 5-Spice herbs and orange skin found in the preparation of roast duck. Meat was tough and chewy.
How dare Auric King 金瑞麟 even think it’s acceptable to sell and serve its customers with such bad duck? Do they make it in-house or they asked a 3rd party to ship over these ducks? Coz there is no way this roast duck doesn’t have crispy skin? I will never buy any BBQ duck at Auric King 金瑞麟 again.
