Yellowbelly Brewery – St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada

The exterior of the Yellowbelly Brewery is very attractive especially with the festive holiday lights outside the brick. I walked inside and the bartender Liam made me very welcome. He told me this is a historical building and have 5 floors with each one slightly having a different theme. This is a pub that serves house craft beers, wood-fired pizzas & burgers and with brewery tours.

I came here to try its beer and shots. 5 beer samples flight for $8.75 CDN is a very good price point. I like this place, it has a big counter and the washroom is very classic, you walk pass the swing doors and there are no windows but bricks around, quite an unique experience.

Liam also gave me some pointers on places to check out around the area for late night entertainment. Yellowbelly makes good craft beer in-house. I didn’t have any food here as I dined elsewhere before but I heard from many people that they said this place has good food as well, including curry mussels or the seafood chowder. I came here for beer as my dessert LOL. I highly recommend anyone to come check out Yellowbelly Brewery.
