Team Canada Baseball has been on the rise in recent years, developing great baseball players along the system and that’s because of great management staff and increase funding to help build more clinics, baseball facilities and enhancing the development program for the young generation.
Yesterday, I was invited to cover the Baseball Canada Fundraiser Banquet Press Conference. Past & current players were on hand to show their support and to receive awards to recognize their achievements and recognition their hard work in various baseball levels.
The Toronto Blue Jays presented a cheque to support Baseball Canada program. RBC Wealth Management was on hand to present a cheque to support Baseball Canada program as well.
Silent auction was setup for the evening so attendees can bid for signed items that were signed by great baseball players such as Roberto Alomar, Brett Lawrie, Joey Votto, Jason Bay, Michael Saunders, etc.
During the 40 mins of Press Conference, I was able to interview a number of awesome baseball players such as Roberto Alomar, Brett Lawrie, Jason Bay, Jeff Francis, Phillippe Amount and Andrew Alberts. Stay tuned for my MoVernie videos!
