Corner Cottage is surrounded by many communities, including a short 30-minute drive to the famous Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.
Our friends who hang out at Collingwood very often recommended us to try Black Bellows Brewing and it didn’t disappoint. We dined at the Black Bellows located right at Downtown Collingwood.
Luv Black Bellows Brewing, amazing craft beer that they brew in-house, although they offer a simple food menu. The food comes out quickly and paired well with the beer offerings.
The portion & pricing of the food are reasonable as well. In particular, we really enjoyed the fries, it’s super crispy and it seems they mixed in with fries and wedges which are great!
Let me emphasize how amazing the staff here. Everyone is hardworking, from the hostess to our server, they were all very friendly and accommodating and making us felt very welcoming!
The inside dining area is nice especially the bar area.
However, during our visit, we opted for the patio area as it’s a beautiful day with some nice breeze and we have our dog, Portia with us which this establishment is dog friendly and will accommodate at the outdoor patio.
If you want to try many of its beer options, you can order the beer flight. We really enjoyed the Japanese lager called Yabai and a beer called “Black Bellows White”, that has wheat beer with elderflower.
We also ordered a bunch of tall boys to drink at our cottage nearby. These beers are easy to drink, smooth, great finish and amazing ingredients.

Bellows Smash Burger (comes with side of fries or salad)
Personally, I would prefer the bun to be warmer instead of serving on the colder side. I wish the beef patty to have some char and crispier outer layer, instead, the patty felt as if it was undercooked or mushy. And I would prefer it comes with onions, tomatoes. Anyhow, the fries made up for it being nice and hot and crispy.
Chicken Tenders (comes with side of fries or salad)
Blackened Cod Sandwich (comes with a side of fries or salad)
Luv the patio area although you can dine inside as well, you decide.
We got some Black Bellows for the cottage. The Black Bellows White (wheat beer + elderflower) was amazing! And we also ordered El 9 Wye (Helles Lager) and Yabai (Japanese rice lager).
