Greek Restaurant in Plaka, Athens, Greece [GREECE TRAVEL SERIES]

After we roamed the streets in the Plaka neighbourhood, we began to get thirsty and hungry, with so many family-run restaurants in Plaka, you can’t go wrong with dining at any of these places. I am sure you will enjoy the food and drinks.

We checked a few restaurants food menu and we settled at this place called “Kentpo Eaahnik”, it’s specialize in seafood and souvlaki. We decided to sit at the patio area under the tent with shades.

Pretty much every restaurant in Plaka has a concrete restaurant structure plus a patio area in a central square.

As we sat down on this hot sunny day, we started off by ordering the local Greek beer. What a great way to refresh our thirst.

There were tons of items to choose from at this restaurant. We decided order 2 plates of pork souvlaki that came with Greek salad and greek fries. Then, we also ordered a seafood platter that included fried calamari (my favourite). The Greek also luv to eat the small fried sardines.
Then, when I went inside the resto to use the washroom, that’s when I realized this restaurant is quite big. It has 2-floor with outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor.

What’s interesting about this restaurant is that it had some artwork framed on the walls, ancient vintage ceramic bowls and other items in glass displays as if it was part exhibits or a mini museum. It’s quite cool.
