During our road trip in the Northern Ontario Region, our itinerary was to drive from Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Based on the Google Maps, the scenic drive will take about 7.5 hours from the two destinations. We definitely need to take breaks to stretch our legs and fuel up our media vehicle, 2020 Mazda CX-30.
So, we decided to make the following pit stops along the scenic drive.
1. Wawa Goose – Wawa, Ontario, Canada
2. Winnie the Pooh Park – White River, Ontario, Canada
3. Terrence Bay – Terrence, Ontario, Canada
In this MoVernie BLOG, let me show you what Wawa, Ontario has to offer. First stop, Wawa Travel Information Centre was closed during our visit due to the pandemic but it still offered some cool exhibit that were located outside the building. Moreover, it is also the site of the famous Wawa Goose, it’s definitely Instagram worthy. The view overlooking the forests and autumn leaves were such a treat to watch.
The best part? Tim Hortons is located right beside the Travel Information Centre, so it’s perfect to use the washroom, buy some coffee and buttered bagels and fuel up your vehicle before continuing on the scenic drive to the next destination, which is White River, Ontario, Canada.
