Did you know…that Winnie the Pooh all begins in White River, Ontario, Canada? Yup! This is true, not Toronto, not Winnipeg, but in a town called “White River”. There is even a Winnie the Pooh Park where you can visit.
The best way to visit White River, Ontario is when you are on a road trip doing a scenic drive from Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay and making a rest stop in White River. You can take photos at Winnie the Pooh Park. Also grab a bite at the A&W beside the park and then fill up your vehicle at the gas station.
Also check out the White River Tourist Information Centre to gather INFO about White River and top things to do while you are there. If you don’t want to just take a rest stop, be sure to stay for a night in White River.
