FREE McCafe all TIFF16 long!
To all my followers who are attending TIFF16,
Whether you are watching a film at TIFF16 or you are standing outside trying to catch a glimpse of the celebrities or you just simply work downtown or just walk around the TIFF Festival Park, whatever you are doing, you will be thirsty or tired and want to grab a nice hot beverage to re-energize.
Not to worry! McDonald’s McCafe got you covered! For the 5th consecutive year, McCafe truck will be located right across the Princess Wales Theatre, ready to serve you FREE McCafe hot beverages (Look for the Giant McCafe Mug on top of the truck, you can’t miss that). That’s right, you aren’t dreaming, this is legit and solid. You know MoVernie, I will always share good stuff with you!
There is no obligations to buy anything, no need to sign any contact information form. All you need to do is lineup and wait for your selected beverage. This year, you can choose from regular coffee or tea, or specialty coffee or tea. The list of free beverages is impressive this year from McCafe.
Right across Princess Wales Theatre! Look for the Giant McCafe Mug at the top of the McCafe Truck.
In case you ask, the specialty coffee includes Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Americano or Mocha. Personally, I ordered myself a pumpkin spice latte. It was delish!
As for specialty tea, flavours include Earl Grey, Orange or Peppermint.
MoVernie Tip: There are two separate lines. One is to lineup for just regular coffee or tea which is much faster coz it’s simpler to prepare for you. The second line is Specialty Coffee or Tea, which requires a little bit waiting time, more like less than 5 minutes. But make sure you are at the right line coz you sure don’t want to wait for 5-8 minutes only to realize you want specialty latte but you lineup the wrong one and have to start over again.
McCafe has expanded the list of offerings this year from last year. Coz I recalled last year, they only served regular coffee or tea, so this is impressive and they are getting better. I recalled last year, I was a bit tired out after covering a red carpet at night and when I saw the McCafe truck, it was my saviour!
I believe the McCafe truck serving hours go from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, but double check with them on Twitter @McD_Canada and follow the #McCafeTIFF for updated information.
